Aves y Agaves is the second annual fundraiser benefiting two of San Miguel de Allende's major ecological organizations: Sociedad Audubon de Mexico and El Charco del Ingenio. We have started a new tradition of collaboration and want you to be part of it to help support the work of conservation and environmental education in San Mguel.
This year we have a professional auctioneer, Mark Vail, coming from New York and we will show the works of over 50 talented artists, designers and architects. There will be bird houses, bird feeders, paintings, jewelry – any artwork that has birds, cacti or nature in general as its theme. The event will be held at El Charco from noon to 3pm.
Only 300 tickets will be sold for this this live and silent auction where botanas and drinks will be served. Tickets are available at Border Crossings, El Tecolote Bookstore, Bobo Gourmet and El Charco del Ingenio Visitors’ Center. The cost is 350 pesos for members and 500 pesos for nonmembers. Don't wait - last year we sold out long before the day of the event!
